About me
Hi there! I'm Evan, a full-stack developer who values design and user experience.
I'm passionate about the software learning community and regularly contribute to open-source projects and help learners with code review. Prior to development, I've worked as a math tutor, research assistant, and a comms person for an academic department.
I got my degree from a large state school in Utah, where I spent my weekdays earning my honors degree in psychology and philosophy, presenting my work at conferences, publishing poetry, and writing a department award-winning thesis, and my weekends scrambling, hiking, backpacking, and photographing the American Southwest. Nowadays, I cook, throw flat pieces of plastic, and follow the goings on of the niche research interests I picked up as a student (this is my compromise for not pursuing grad school in philosophy).
If you'd like to get in touch, shoot me a message on LinkedIn or send me an email!
